Saturday morning, 11 a.m. Let the games begin… We set off together with the bus shuttle to our personal “winter dream” . Arriving at Phantasialand, we are immediately enchanted by a fascinating, wintry backdrop that takes us into another world. In bright sunshine we start into an exciting day full of fun, thrill and enchanting atmosphere.
While some were a bit more timid and did a few laps on the horse carousel, others were already standing in line for the fastest multi-launch coaster in the world - “Taron”. A photo challenge led us through the day in a playful and fun way and captured the most beautiful moments of “being a child again”.
When it came to organizing the Christmas party, whose location changes every year (Bonn, Hamburg or Białystok), it didn’t take long before the choice fell on the amusement park Phantasialand. Phantasialand is located in the Bonn region and was therefore an ideal location for the Bonn cronner Christmas party. Many cronner, among them our founder and managing director Jobst, know the park from their childhood and have fond memories of it. Last but not least, we liked the idea of celebrating at Phantasialand, as the Java conference JavaLand takes place there every year. Next year we will not only participate as visitors, but also as training partners.
In the evening we were welcomed to a first-class dinner in our exclusive location in WuzeTown. The buffet left nothing to be desired (#vegan) and the DJ brought our tired legs to the dance floor after the eventful day, where we roared along to the rocking sounds of Nirvana and classic disco fox figures were brought to the dance floor until the middle of the night. Considering the beautiful evening, it’s a bit of a pity that Christmas is only once a year… but we are already looking forward to the Christmas party in Hamburg 2020!
„Except the situation when the Christmas Party was held in Białystok (all the other guys from Germany were in our shoes then) we always have the longest trip to the party from Poland. But that does not mean it's a problem, it only means there's no time to waste when we arrive, so most of us started the before-party one night sooner That's why some activities in Phantasialand where both as exciting to ride as demanding for our stomachs... We had a wonderful time there, and the evening party rocked as always! Music, drinks and ballroom dancing mixed with pogoing created exceptional atmosphere.
